Anyone know where I can attend a shikishi 色紙 making class?
My husband and I are moving into an apartment in Tokyo with a tatami room that has a tokonoma 床の間. We bought the kakejiku 掛軸 already that has the empty space for the shikishi. We were going to buy seasonal shikishi and that’s still an option but my husband made a joke and was like “how about you make us one?” And I was like you know what…? Not a bad idea lol. Now we’re considering making one together but not sure if there’s even a class for that sort of thing. Somewhere in the Tokyo area would be helpful if anyone knows about one. Thanks in advance!
