Ever since I was a kid I dreamed about going to japan and living there. I visited in 2023 went as a backpacker and gt to visit from Kobe all the way to Wakkanai and it only solidified my dream. I come from a very small town in Mexico where i didn't have a lot of opportunities to study. Fast forward to today I'm living in the United States. Since I was 18 I worked selling cars, never had the opportunity again to go in to school to get a bachelor's or anything, life is getting really stale, now I'm 31 about to he 32 years old and after so long I decided to leave my job I've been looking at options to get me GED and also look into different colleges (to do tuition online and get my degree that way) and still work a job (not sales because of the long hours) and then move to Japan. By the time I'm done I might be 36 years old and don't know if it's a smart move, am I romanticizing the idea of Japan too much? Did I make a mistake? Or do I need to be brought down to earth?
