Hi guys!!
I'm a 27yo Swedish guy who just moved to Kyoto to live with my girlfriend who's Japanese and studies here in Kyoto. Does anyone know of any events for expats/foreigners to meetup? I've been looking around a bit and couldn't find alot except for the ones for exchange students at the uni's but they seem to be generally limited to students at the universities which they're being held at. I'm studying Japanese full time but am not in any way good enough to have deeper conversations in Japanese yet so would be good to meet some english speaking friends!
A little about me: I'm a quite social and generally positive guy. I love travelling and have spent some years of my life backpacking around the world. I also like bouldering (just casually), hiking, camping and other outdoorsy stuff. Food is also one of my biggest passions and I really love cooking (and eating haha). I also like music and play the guitar sometimes!
