Two men accused of reselling emergency stockpiled rice. They claim they didn’t know about emergency measures act that took effect on June 23 prohibiting stockpiled rice resell

On the 18th, Gifu Police sent documents to the Gifu District Public Prosecutors Office against a male (30s) who runs a retail store in Motosu City, Gifu Prefecture and a female part-time worker (30s) on suspicion of reselling stockpiled rice they purchased from a supermarket. Both claim they didn't know it was against the law to resell stocked rice.
