I will be in Kitakyushu in Japan for a while for my studies. Do you have any recommendations ? Should I take a subscription for public transport for exemple ? I have like a tons of questions but I am for now taking any tips !
As a non asian and first time ever taking a trip to any asian country I am kind of stress about being alone or rejected ? Should I ?

UPDATE : it was suggested that I should write all my questions. So let’s go :
– I want to travel trough Japan but also I will be taking regularly the local transportation as Buses to go tu uni. What are you advise ? Local subscription + ponctual ticket for the train ? Is it all online or should I take those at the station ?
– is their an app for taxis ?
– what about the food ? Do you have the name of a supermarket ? Or is it more convenient ( and cheaper?) to eat outside ?
– should I tale cash or is it common to pay by card ?
– is it safe at night ?
– if I want to go a walk do you recommend a park in particular ?
Also I wanted to add that I will do my best to talk to people and I am expecting positive interaction. But also I can help being a bit worry about I will be perceive as a foreigner + I am not speaking the language( I am here responding to a reply). No hate just all this is very new to me.
