Do motorcycles need registered parking spaces?

I moved to Tokyo recently and decided to get a motorcycle. I’ve been having trouble finding parking spots near me with the lack of available parking as well as my horrible Japanese skills. My apartment doesn’t have any bike, car, or motorcycle parking but my neighbors have a perfect spot to slide a motorcycle into. But it’s not gated in or anything and also not really a real parking spot (I don’t think) would it be ok to park there if I got my neighbors permission? Or would I get ticketed
