I'm sorry, I hope this is the last post connected to my divorce. I asked some people directly, asked my friends and tried to call Immigration Office (no succes yet). Free lawyer consultation didn't help as well. Websites are saying mainly "foreigners on PR are safe but those on other visas should do xyz". No info about PR. I asked in my embassy, but they answer mails really slowly. On the other hand my friends on PR got divorced a long time ago and don't remember. Maybe somebody can answer me here, before I'll finally contact the Immigration.
When divorcing on PR, do I have to submit something to the Immigration Office?
Some kind of form online or document?
To let them know I'm divorced?
I know PR is not a dependant visa, it shouldn't be affected, but lack of information is suspicious to me.
I know I will be erased from his Koseki, I know I have to inform my company, because of the taxes. If it's important I'm in Japan since 2013, got my PR in 2020, we are married 10 years and he is Japanese.
I will appreciate any information.
