Does anyone know rules on the city office selling land which was previously designated as a footpath (道).
I own a house (and have for ~15 years) close to what has become a quite famous beach/photo spot.
It had a city owned free car park on it for a long time, which was split into 3 lots including a footpath going straight across the middle.
The footpath continues up a hill connecting to a small community of houses.
I found out today that all three lots, and the footpath between them have been sold to a private car parking company.
It means the footpath from my house is now a dead end as the final 10m have been sold. Obviously it does lead to the car park, but that is then their private (?) land.
There is a second footpath which they didn't buy, but they have blocked it with several tons of hardcore dug out while levelling the car park.
Is there anyone or anything I can do to work out how part of a footpath was sold, or ensuring I can walk across their car park in the future?
