1. Bit of a fake news headline: it says CDP and Komeito eye unified PM candidate, but the actual article only references CDP and other minor parties saying they want to unify (maybe). Nothing from Komeito.

2. Unless all of their parties are suffering from dementia, they would remember the deadly inter-party clash that broke out between them the other day, and any kind of coordination among them is basically impossible.
