Traveling Ishigaki Oct 19-24 Worried about Heavy Rain/ High Winds Forecast for Planned Activities- diving, beaches, ferries, hiking

I’ve been checking the Windy app (ECMWF model) for my upcoming trip to Ishigaki (Oct 19th-24th) and it’s showing rain and strong winds every single day we’re there (up to 100mm some days). I know it’s normal for Okinawa to have some heavy showers, humidity, and gusty weather, but this looks like a total washout.

We planned the trip mainly for diving, beaches, snorkeling, and hiking, so if it really is going to pour nonstop, that would basically cancel everything we came for.

How accurate are those forecasts this far out? Wondering if it’s worth trying to cancel some Airbnbs and recover part of the cost before we go or if it's worth waiting it out a bit longer to see. I heard it's not uncommon for forecasts there to call for heavu rain all day only to have mostly sunny days with some showers.

Would appreciate any locals or recent travellers’ insight — thanks!
