I've read on here that unless I get hikari denwa, I'll only get a /64 ipv6 address on NTT's network. If I get the phone, I'll get a /56. That information is 4 years old, however. Is this still the case?
The router I brought with me doesn't currently do NPD proxy, and I don't like the idea of giving the whole world access to my devices. I know I can just NAT the ipv4 address I get and disable ipv6, but I'd like to use ipv6 where possible.
I don't mind paying the extra 550 for it, I just want to make sure this 'trick' still works.
Thanks for any help!
EDIT: I got it working with my Unifi Router on UnifiOS 4.4.5 and Network Application 4.5.21. I set V6 to SLAAC and the Prefix to Auto and then V4 to IPv4 over IPv6, MAP-E, v6Plus and then waited. Eventually, it all came alive and worked! So I can confirm that Unifi routers work natively now.
