I really liked the James may our man in japan documentary/series is there anything similar or even better that i should be checking out ?

I enjoyed the James may our man in Japan series, I thought it was vibrant represented most of the layers and characteristics of Japan and also covered a lot of Japan (geographically speaking), I don't have the money to discover and learn about Japan by going there at this time, however I am really keen to learn through documentaries and books
