Any predictions on the direction they’re going? Something is brewing i think we will get finlay vs Kidd at WK. Everything depends on who’s leaving. I think we’ll see Gabe beat finlay and kick him out. I think Gabe stays for atleast another year. We may see KOB and Jake lee split and make a new faction.

I think the unaffiliated crew alliance is cool but doesn’t have any staying power, unless multiple War Dogs are gone in the new year and they need to absorb Ishimori and KOB
Gabe/Finlay is being teased heavily but if it’s predicated on who’s leaving then who knows between them. They’ve done a really good job at building to it though
I think Jake Lee is better off either helming the new War Dogs if both Gabe and Finlay are leaving, or joining up with HoT and they move to have EVIL be a face a couple years down the line/have Lee mentor or get usurped by Narita
There’s also one guy from every faction (aside from TMDK, and even then Oiwa could snap) who could build to a heel turn, so if they want to go crazy debuting a new faction they could go with that
Either a massive faction shakeup is coming or its going to be a nothingburger for merch reasons.
UE: Is basically dead. Callum’s sounded almost heelish talking about it.
No Stable Found: Are shaking hands with the War Dogs and being respectful, so seem to be leaning hard tweener.
War Dogs: KOB seem to hate them, Finlay and Kidd don’t seem to get along, Finlay is having a crisis of faith about his abilitiies.
There’s the ingredients for a spectacular explosion here, and a returning Smart Bastard could be the way to go about it. We’ll see if they do. This booking team isn’t like the Gedo of old, where you knew this stuff was a seed that would pay off in a few months. They seem to throw stuff out there and let it fizzle constantly these days.
I would say that the War Dogs are somehow dead, because they went from guys who did everything for the system to the point of hating it, to embrace their love for New Japan and defend it from HOUSE OF TORTURE, transitioning Bullet Club into faces in the process and completing the story of the unit, while HOT has fully taken BC’s place as the bastards, usurpers, dicks and assholes of New Japan.
The future of the unit itself is in the hands of their contracts, I honestly see nothing left to do for Finlay, Kidd and Connors and I would be surprised to see all of them in NJPW after Wrestle Kingdom 20 but maybe Kidd will indeed stay for another year, still, he’s clearly AEW bound. Connors could join the Bang Bang Gang I guess, while Finlay seems more a WWE prospect for me, he could easily be the one to take the NXT title off Ricky Saints, but as far as the Bullet Club goes it’s time to call it a day, they did it with LIJ after all.
The visual with all members facing Kidd could’ve been a foreshadowing. I think the dogs will turn on Kidd and maybe Finlay. Kidd and Finlay need to be babyfaces/tweeners, but new Japan is afraid to turn the whole stable.
Of course only if they stay. I could also see Finlay going to WWE and Gabe to AEW.
