Can Uber Taxi drivers charge an extra fee on a whim? They charged the normal rate (¥500) plus ¥300 as an extra fee. So, it’s ¥800 to start. It wasn’t raining, but maybe it’s a weekend fee? Any ideas? I’ll ask them next time.
