Kia Ora, Hello from New Zealand
Me and my partner are coming for travel from 31th Oct to 3rd Nov, as it's for our honeymoon and also first time visiting Japan, I'm trying to make our plan as perfect as I can, hope everyone can give a hand, thanks.
First day we will be arrive NAHA around 2pm, she want to go to "A happy pancake (幸せのパンケーキ)" at Tomigusuku, unfortunately even I waked up at JPT 00:00 last friday, I still can't make my reservation, all booking sold out immedately. Dose anyone know how long the waiting time will be roughly if we just walkin? Also is there any recommend things to do around that area?
Day 2 my plan will be Churaumi Aquarium at lunch time, is there any good resturant around the aquarium? Also we planning watch the Firework that day night, should we stay at American Village till the night or should we go to the Hisai Outdoor event instead? Which one you guys think is better?
Day 3 I booked snorkeling at Tokashiki Island, I just checked the wearther and it doesn't looks good sadly, will raining effect snorkeling alot? What should I do for my plan B if it rains haveily?
Also will Uber be super expensive at Okinawa? I heard taxi is insanly expensive in Japan so I'm not sure should I rental a car or should I just Uber + Bus.
Another question is do I need to leave tips here? There's no tip culture in New Zealand but since there is an "American Villeage' in Okinawa so I thought maybe it's different here.
