Figured it’s worth attempting to make on unofficial thread to save the sub from sixty separate posts this week? Especially since lots of visitors seem to be making the trip out for it.
Curious how this is going to go in Japan, given the crowds seem fairly rowdy and drunk (in an adult, charming, good way) especially with the beer sales. Lots of friends reporting many thrown beers on them. Utt ohh!!
The official tour merch "pop up" is at Miyashita Park this week. Advance reservations are required and for days leading up the slots were "sold out" BUT as of this morning, looks like a bunch have opened up, so you can now wear your shirt to the gig! Lots of "Tokyo exclusive" stuff. Japan is going to Japan, so there are certain items which are only available from certain locations on certain days 😒
And selfishly adding : Looks like I now have a spare set of tickets to sell in person if anyone is looking for tix to Sunday's show! A friend ended up getting "better" seats than what we previously had.

It’s unlikely the crowds will be rowdy and drunk – typical crowd is 50-80% standing depending on the song and many remaining seated. They come in on time and leave promptly. Not much time for getting wasted. Though doors are open early for this one. It’s been the same in my experience from pop to heavy rock. I think the crowd will mostly be 40+ too.
That sounds awful reading back, but it works! You can actually hear the music (which is difficult in Tokyo Dome at the best of times) and the atmosphere is friendly and cooperative. Plus you don’t get drenched in piss.
Had a lot of UK friends go & while I’m not a huge fan (these days) it does look like good, nostalgic fun. But that’s mainly with the atmosphere & everyone singing along…unsurw if that will happen in Tokyo. That said, Turnstile was an amazing atmosphere so here’s hoping.
Looking for 2 tickets for the Saturday if anyone knows of spares. Over from the UK
PM me with your ticket type and prices for Sunday please
I have 1 extra A seat ticket for Saturday.
I went to a solo Liam Gallagher gig about 7 years ago and it was good natured but hardly rowdy. Singing along and a bit of dancing but not much more than that.
I might be interested in two tickets for Sunday if you still have them!
