i got assaulted with a knife on the 30th june which ended up me having 11 scars in my face and 5 scars on my chest. the culprit was found the next day and was in custody for about 3 months.
i recently(september 14th) got a letter from the judge(my english is pretty bad, no idea how to say it in other words) which said that he doesnt get jail time but if anything else happens in the next 5 years hes going to jail.
i had to get an operation because of my broken eyeholes(both sides) and my broken nose which, even after using 保険証, left me with a significant amount to pay.
i do not have money to consult with a lawyer. is there any way i can get compensation? or is there anything i can do to get some kind of help?
im still traumatized but if more info is needed let me know.
