I was interviewed by a well reputed Japanese MNC for a global legal role. I had to take an aptitude test and go through two rounds of interview ( primarily in japanese), which was a little difficult for me to tackle, because of the language barrier. They still seem to have liked me a lot, since they asked me tons of questions about my JD, my career aspirations, and even went so far as to discuss what kind of tasks I might lbe handed, since my japanese proficiency is not native level. They told me that they will seriously consider my application and will take some time to get back. They also did not discuss my compensation or any such perks. What should I expect to hear? how mentally prepared should I be?
