Anyone else had their rakuten card information leaked?

Hello,

Since early September I've received SMS messages of someone trying to use my Rakuten Card as I'm getting the "code" for the VISA 3D secure option I think.

So this means someone has both my card information and the pin number in the back of the card.

I didn't think much of it but just recently I decided to cancel the card and create a new one just to be on the safe side.

Well I hadn't even received my card yet and my previous card had been disabled but I still received a message of a random USD charge in my card. I am not sure how this is possible given I just recreated the card.

I tried to call Rakuten but they make it really really hard to actually talk to someone and the chat bots are not working.

I'm trying to figure out if there's a way where I can indefinetily disable my card and only use it for major purchases instead because this is getting stressful.
