Is it hard to make Japanese friends while living in Japan?

Hi! I’m Japanese, and I’d like to ask people who live in Japan. Do you have any Japanese friends?

Is it difficult to make Japanese friends?
If you do have some, where and how did you meet them?
And if you don’t, what do you think makes it difficult to become friends with Japanese people?

I’m just curious about how foreigners make (or try to make) Japanese friends while living here! (I’d love to make new international friends too someday!)
