My partner and I are looking to purchase a property in Hokkaido; it’s currently more ‘cabin’ style and the current owner has only used a wood stove and kerosene heaters to heat the place, but we would like to install something more permanent and closer to western style heating. The house is 94 square meters.
Does anyone have any experience building/renovating/installing this kind of thing, and able to advise on what the options are? So far it seems that hybrid heating/cooling AC style units are the most common use for what we’re looking for, and we’re struggling to find storage heaters/radiators that we have in our current flat.
Any knowledge or tips appreciated, thanks.
