Hi, I purchased an item above ¥20,000, the cashier asked for my passport and scanned it, but the price wasn’t reduced instantly and they don’t have a seperate ‘tax-free’ counter (2nd hand store). But these seem to be the only options people explain online to receive tax back. Am I missing something? What do I need to do?
