One day, my gf, who is learning Chinese, told me 床屋(Barber in Japanese) means bed shop in Chinese.
It did make sense to me at the time. I think it's acceptable for "Floor" to mean a bed, since it can be considered a floor.
At the same time, I wondered why 床屋 means a barber in Japanese !?!?!?!?
Because 床=Floor !
And at the same time, I realized "Bathroom" means toilet in American English. My concern was removed because English is just as weird as Japanese.
