I’m gonna apply for change of residence status at the immigration and I’m wondering which one would be better, Shinagawa or Tachikawa. I’ve heard the wait time is pretty short in Tachikawa compared to Shinagawa, but I’m not sure if Tachikawa covers the Koto ward (江東区) where I live. I tried calling their branch to confirm a few times but got no answer.
So I’m wondering if anyone here who lives in the eastern side of Tokyo has applied for residence status change in Tachikawa branch. Thanks!
