Just wondering if these types of electroplating services still exist in the age of “disposable” products. It was a semi common service globally decades ago.
I am looking at some old 1960s kitchenware on Mercari and other second hand markets.
I can see obvious signs that the stainless steel nature of the products I want to buy are starting to degrade with light rust patina.
I know I can clean them up but without a fresh coating they will have to be worked on frequently.
