Which month offers the best deals in used cars?

Hi. I am looking to buy a used car and I wonder if now is a good time to buy due to end of year deals? or is there a specific month when locals get rid of their old cars which increases supply / drives down prices?

I'm reading mentions of 'shaken' and all sorts of taxes and how people usually sell right before these are due and its overwhelming figuring when this happens and if it's worth waiting for or avoiding as a buyer.
