一、吾々(われわれ)は, 質実剛健 (しつじつごうけん)を以(もっ)て、
克己(こっき)の精神(せいしん)を涵養(かんよう)すること。
1, we shall (吾々), with fortitude and strength (質実剛健), develop (涵養) the spirit (精神) of self control (克己)
質実剛健 – not sure if this one should be more, sincerity and strength rather than fortitude?
克己の精神 – this one is a bit odd too. The spirit of self control sounds a bit odd in English, but I think it is the closest translation?
