I’d imagine for most of these people intelligence is their dump stat… but if you’re going to steal cards, it seems like stealing a scant 9 cards worth a collective 8M yen isn’t the smartest move. Not only is it going to be very obvious that they’re missing but it also seems like it’s going to be pretty fucking easy to track down. Like I’m not really versed in that world at all, but I can’t imagine the volume on cards selling at ±1M yen is that high… feels like it would have been easier to get away with stealing stuff that isn’t the Pokémon equivalent of a Van Gogh painting in terms of rarity…
