How’s the part-time job situation in Fukuoka for foreign students?

Hey everyone,

I’ll be moving to Japan in October next year to attend a Japanese language training program. So during that time, I’ll be there as a student.

While studying, I also plan to do arubaito. I’m currently torn between two cities. My first choice is Fukuoka, since it’s much cheaper than Tokyo and seems to have a really good quality of life. My second option is Tokyo, mainly because there are more job opportunities there.

I’m mostly undecided because of the arubaito situation.
Right now, my Japanese is around N5 level, but by the time I go, I expect to reach around N4 or maybe even N3.

So I’d love to hear from people who already live in Japan, especially in Fukuoka.

How is the arubaito situation in Fukuoka for foreigners? Is there enough demand?

Thanks a lot!
