Moving to Japan- Entertainment Jobs

Hi all, quite a niche question for those of you in animation, games, film.

Do any of these industries look healthy enough to be seen as a long-term career move in the present day?

As I'm sure y'all know, these industries have not been doing so hot in the West between layoffs and closures, and I'm currently trying to decide whether to hang up my hat as a whole in this industry, or look eastwards.

I'm aware Japanese literacy is needed for the long term but I've chatted with anime studios a few times (like PPI), and in terms of finding work for the short term, I should have that covered with visa sponsorship. I'm just not sure if the Japanese counterparts are facing the same challenges, and if the long-term outlook is just as uncertain.

For reference, I work with CG, across a few departments (modeling, environments, LRC)

I'd appreciate any insight into the current state of things!
