I will be starting my working holiday in December and will be in Japan for 1 year. If it’s possible I will like to find a full time job and stay a bit longer in Japan after that 1 year period.
Do you guys have any advice on how to strategically plan to transition from a working holiday to a work visa? Like when to look for jobs or contacting recruiters. Also when in that 1 year would be best to apply. Which months maybe.
Context:
I have lived in Japan for 1 year before and visited several times. I have N3 Japanese but will be going for N2 while I am there. Bachelor’s degree and have 7 years experience as a system engineer with cloud management experience. I have worked before in Japan at a part time job and internship during my foreign exchange there.
Would love your input and advice on how to think about this strategically.
