Hello everyone, my girlfriend and I booked 6 nights in Okinawa over NYE. We are in our mid 30s and enjoy a mix of activities, but mostly we are curious travelers who like to witness life in other parts of the world.
We’ve been reading a bunch, and find ourselves more undecided than ever about how to spend our time in Okinawa. We know we’d like to be in a lively place on NYE, explore Naha, go whale watching, and see some of the island nature.
But that leaves us with some questions which we hope you can help us with:
– do we spend all 6 nights in Naha so we have a “base”? If so, which area do you recommend?
– should we rather spend a few nights somewhere else? And where, given the time of the year?
– should we rent a car? Or just bus around?
