Me and 4 other guys (mid/late 20s) are going to Japan in February for a "bachelor trip" (One of us is getting married but we aren't bachelor party people lol) We aren't really party people as much as we are nerds who love culture and food. We currently are planned to have 3 days in Tokyo, 3 days in Niigata, and 3 days to ski in Habuka. We are Americans who really do like to drink and try new foods. But most importantly we want to be as respectful as possible anywhere we go. None of us are fluent in Japanese but we all are capable of ordering off a menu. We are still building our itinerary. Are there any recommendations or tips in Tokyo, Niigata, or Habuka you may have?
I know 5 people makes it a bit harder and we want to be prepared.
