I live in an apartment in a 1 unit per floor kind of building. I have little kids and as much as we told them to not run in the house, they still do and sometimes fall, making noise.
Today I just received a call, I don't know from who exactly since I don't fully understand spoken Japanese yet, but from what I gather, he was related to the real estate company from whom I rented the apartment. He asked me about whether I have musical instruments or not (which I don't), and about the loud steps of my kids (he already asked about my kids ages by that point).
In the end, he told me to be careful about noises especially above 8PM.
Since I don't have any neighbor to the side, doesn't this mean my below neighbor reported me? They never show any signs of dislike towards us though 🤔
If so, any advice on what to do?
I'm planning to buy a house next year. Hopefully I can move out soon 🤞🏼
