On Oct. 5 around 11:05 pm, two trains collided near Kajigaya Station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line in Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki causing one train to derail. According to Tokyu Corporation, there were no injuries. Services on the Denentoshi Line were temporarily suspended on the entire line, and although some sections have since resumed service, services have been suspended on both lines between Shibuya and Saginuma since the first train on the 6th.
According to Tokyu, a local train bound for Shibuya from Chuo-Rinkan collided with a train being sent back to the depot as it arrived at Kajigaya Station. The lead car of the train being sent back derailed. Passengers on the local train disembarked on the station platform.
