Straits times? Breeders always pushing their perverted ideology on young kids /s
I would love to see the long term results of this. Honestly, I think it’s a good idea, not only to help kids protect themselves but to eliminate the shame fed to us about our bodies and the natural processes we have for making more babies as well as health.
Also, I’m interested how this could impact the long term issues of population growth in Japan.

Seems reasonable.
Abuse of children is often difficult to discover because children don’t understand when they should seek help. Education goes a very long way towards fixing this issue. Children seeking help as early as possible can help prevent a lot of trauma long term.
And abuse aside, children have been known to discover masturbation (non-sexual/non-romantic – purely physical) very early. I can recall I discovered it around 5 years old myself. But without education, there was zero context about my own body and what was going on. This was pre-internet as well, so I had to piece together a lot of questionable information from a lot of weird sources to figure out my own body.
Kindergarten sex-ed would have answered so many questions.
If this education emphasises consent so they stop kanchōing anyone who turns their back to them, that’ll be awesome.
Child abuse is a silent issue here. Kept very quiet, very private, to the abuser’s privilege.
Better education would lead to an end of that. And then, even more tragic, better than the current “sexless or constantly cheating” duopoly that people are either put in, or putting themselves in. Maybe take a few years to meet someone you actually like and then have a dozen kids about it, for fucks sake.
I’ve already explained to my daughters that no one touches your privates, if someone does tell mommy and daddy, they won’t be in trouble. Likewise don’t touch other people’s privates.
Its not that hard…yo teach something as simple as that
