Im currently in my first year of school for my BSN In the US i am 20. But i’m thinking of switching majors maybe Comp science as im undecided on what profession to get into i don’t really think my degree is too relevant as long as i get one but ideally i’d go down the medical or tech route. I’m putting together a plan to hopefully move to japan by 25 and learn up to N2 by then (i currently just began learning japanese) but i have multiple questions that can hopefully get answered on here as well as hopefully i can recieve general insight about immigration, finding work, the best process or way to go about it or possible routes to take. i’ve done some basic research but a lot of information i’ve found is contradictory or only somewhat useful to my current situation.

Would studying and getting a degree in the US and gaining experience before making my immigration be preferred over moving to japan to study then transferring to a work visa after graduation?

Can you continuously renew your work visa while currently living in japan without having to leave (given you meet the requirements to have a work visa)
-
With mediocre SAT scores but meeting the requirements would university in japan be extremely difficult to get into (i know this answer kind of answers itself but i feel people living there could give more insight)
