Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking about moving to Japan. My plan is to start by spending three months at a language school next fall, after getting my Japanese up to around the N4 level on my own. If everything goes well, I’d like to go back later to study again and reach N2.
However, there’s one thing that concerns me: by the time I go, I’ll already be 32. I have a bachelor’s degree in finance and over seven years of experience working as an economist. So my main question is how relevant would my education and work experience be in Japan if I wanted to build a career there?
