I wanted to get tickets for 3:30-4:00 pm on Nov 23rd, 2025, since sunset is at 4:38 pm. Following are the steps I followed and it's damn simple.
- 2 days before purchase date, I created an account at https://webket.jp/pc/ticket/index?fc=00396&ac=8001 and played with the purchasing tickets after 3 pm option, and noticed they opened tickets for Nov 23rd on Nov 8th, 14 days earlier. Saved account login info in Microsoft Edge browser as Chrome is showing dates in a weird format.
- I created a reminder on my phone for 9:45 am EST, when it's 11:45 pm Nov 8th in Japan.
- Got onto my desktop, had my credit card number entered in the notepad window. Opened Edge browser, logged in, and waited for the calendar to purchase after 3 pm tickets.
- From 11:50 pm Japan time, I constantly refreshed the page until Nov 23rd showed enabled. Then I chose 15:40~15:59 time and chose 1 Adult in my case, entered my full name, and the Purchase button got enabled.
- Clicked on the Purchase button and entered credit card number (I used a US Visa – Chase Sapphire Preferred). Payment got declined, but I instantly got an email from Chase about a fraudulent charge, and I chose "Yes, I recognise it" and I didn't have to do anything. Looks like the website automatically did a second try, and my ticket is confirmed, and I got an email.
- Next, I tried to buy tickets for my friends, but they were all sold out for any decent time around sunset and blue hour.
