Seems pretty balanced. Since many of these are pretty close in proximity, you may have enough time to walk around and explore.
So big plus – unlike many itineraries here, you’re not trying to boil the ocean. You have plenty of time to do the stuff that you have listed here.
My only suggestions:
1. Shinjuku and Akihabara aren’t particularly close to each other. If you don’t mind the slight inefficiency, you could pair one of these with another day where things are closer. Otherwise, try putting Shinjuku with your Shibuya day and try and fit in Akihabara while you’re in the Ueno area.
2. Takeshitadori can be very, very busy. If your day 4 is a weekend day, you might want to choose to do that on a weekday instead to abate some of the crowds.
imo Akihabara can be a full day on its own
For Day 3 I’d try and go to Senso-ji in the early morning. I went at 9:30 am and it was already packed. Doubling back to Ueno Park isn’t as convenient but it’ll probably make for a more enjoyable experience at Senso-ji and you’ll be able to enjoy Asakusa as you walk.
Also Shinjuku Gyeon is pretty close to both Meji-Jingu and Harajuku so you could probably fit all those into one day. Though I understand splitting it up if you want a more leisurely day.
Are you really the first time traveller? Show me your flux capacitor.
This all looks sensible, and is realistically paced. Just a couple of suggestions:
* Takeshita Street is a pretty awful tourist trap. The nearby Cat Street is also very touristy, but is a lot nicer and is probably what you’re hoping to see.
* The Tsukiji Outer Market isn’t very interesting – it’s just a touristy food market.
I just finished my 11 days in Tokyo as well last week and we have a similar itinerary. Seems very doable to me! And I agree with the other user, research DisneySea! Didn’t know about the fast passes etc and I ended up not going to the biggest rides cause they have 2+ hours of wait time 😅 I still had fun riding the less popular ones!
Meiji jingu is open really early. You won’t spend that much time there
I think your itinerary looks perfect as is. Not over complicated or exhausting, and plenty of flexibility
I’m going to Tokyo Disney see I just came from there and you definitely wanna go in the morning while school is in session because after 4 PM it’s almost unwalkable the amount of overcrowded and I went on a Tuesday. Don’t even consider the weekend. Otherwise it was great but the crowdsturned into hell.
Try to squeeze in Teamlabs Planets one evening. It was really inspiring and different. If you’re headed to Tokyo soon, it’s open late so you don’t need to burn any daylight hours on it.
Looks like a nice plan. However, why going to an american themed park (Disney) while in Japan? You could travel to the Studio Ghibli, or visit one of the teamlab exhibitions, or visit the art aquarium: these would be unique experiences. On top of that, you don’t seem to have planned anything for the evenings, like the sumo wrestling or a show at the Tokyo Dome.
I think what you might find is that you spend far less time doing some of things and far more time doing some of these things. For example, Ueno park is like an hour long thing for me. It’s just something that every really impressed me. Same with Sky Tree. It’s just shopping area with shops you can find anywhere in the world. For me, 10 mins and I’m done with that stuff.
I’ve had friends come and spend days shopping in Akiba. They kept saying they want to go back, again and again.
Now, just my 2 yen worth, but things like Yoyogi park are a waste of time. It’s a park. You can see that stuff anywhere. It’s great if you live in the city and want to touch grass, but as a tourist it’s a waste of your time. Tokyo actually has a bunch of traditional gardens that cost a few hundred yen to enter and they are all pretty awesome and worth an hour to 90 mins of your time to see. I think Rikugien Gardens is quite stunning and always take friends there when they come to visit.
What a nice, roomy schedule!  You’ll have heaps of time for leisurely exploring.
My only question is about jet lag. You have DisneySea on your first full day. Going there when you’re not time-adjusted could be fraught.Â
Cat street, teamlabs, Asakusa and Tsujuki market were my highlights. Also if you enjoy pizza go to Roppongi to the restaurant Savoy – best I’ve ever had
