We’re planning a Japan trip, probably about a year out. Our kids will be almost 11 and 5.5. Our 11-year-old girl has an excellent diet and loves sushi, ramen, dumplings, seaweed, etc. We’re not worried about her being able to enjoy to food. Our son is a different story. He has a limit diet and is really hesitant to try new foods. If you’ve been with kids, what are some common “kid foods” you encountered? We want to start working with him now to incorporate some of those more common options into his diet now in the hopes that it won’t be so challenging when we’re there.
