Recs for a family trip to Japan

Hi all!! My family and I (8pax) are visiting Japan in March 2026, specifically from the 7th to the 19th.

What days would you recommend for each of the big 3 cities (Tokyo, Osaka and Kioto). Also, where would you stay in each city and why? We’re guessing AirBnB would be the best option for such a big group.
