Hey guys, I'm an app dev and was wondering what you think of AI integration in language learning apps. Our app is immersion based with reading content from real japanese authors and we have our own unscripted immersion podcast with japanese hosts. But one thing that i've been debating in my head is AI. Like if you don't wanna read the content we have or watch the podcast episodes, we have an ai that can generate practice reading content for you. Another feature we were thinking of is just a question answer chat thing where if you have a question like
"how do i use ので?"
then the bot gives you the answer in the app about vocab and grammar questions so you don't have to leave the app. What do you think about this? Cool or just more useless ai stuff?
In case you're wondering, we've already designed the screen for it. I'll include a picture (but sorry i gotta blur it). It's themed as a traditional ramen stand and the ai is like a chef npc. The app is a pixel rpg language learner. I just don't know what people think about ai and if it's good or what. Thanks!!!!
