I need to renew both my Philippine and Japanese passports this year. I have already renewed my Japanese passport and received it, but during the process at the Japanese passport office, I mistakenly answered “No” to the question asking if I am a foreign passport holder. Now I’m worried about getting into trouble.
For my Philippine passport, I am in the process of renewing it and correctly selected “Yes” for foreign passport holder and indicated Japan.
Should I contact the Japanese passport office to inform them that I made a mistake? I am currently 20 years old.
