A few days ago, I had entertained Japanese guests at our college (India), by speak with them- of course in Japanese- and they were pretty impressed and happy. One of them gave me their business card. I took it with two hands, looked at it intently, and put it slowly into my phone cover flap saying "This is my first business card, will keep it in the most closest place": basically I most politely accepted it in the Japanese way.
Only thing is now I don't know if you should- out of respect- reach out to them saying thank you for the business card and basically say "yoroshiku onegaishimasu" or something… This is my first time receiving a business card from a Japanese person, actually the first business card I got in general.
It would be of great help if you could tell me what to do in this situation.
