My friend is a 四世 Japanese Brazilian. She has been passionate about finding her roots in Okinawa.
I was able to find her ancestors' records on the Okinawan Migration database, and they show the registered domicile + house number.
However, these addresses are from 1900, so Google Maps hasn't been very helpful. I figure that local expertise could be more helpful here.
I am not sure if anyone here knows, but I would greatly appreciate it if you can help me figure out where she can visit her roots!
