PCSing to Oki in the next 30ish days with my family. Super excited to be stationed in such a cool location and am fully expecting to live our best lives. I’ll be working EST hours (1800-0200 Oki time) and will have a decent amount of time by myself as my wife will be working and my kiddo will be at daycare. I’ll be in the very fortunate situation of being able to feed my golf addiction without pissing off my wife since I’ll be playing in the middle of the day on weekdays. What’s the best military course on the island and the best non-military course (within financial reason)? I fully plan on walking as much as I can (no matter the heat). We’ll be living near Foster/Kadena. Is it worth it to join a non-military course. Always down to play with others too! Thanks in advance!
