North or South Kanto?

hey all, I have an ALT offer for the North Kanto region, which could place me anywhere from Saitama and Chiba, to as far out as Yamanashi or Toyama.

i have the option to decline this and try my luck with the South Kanto region, Yokohama, Tokyo, or Kanagawa.

i greatly prefer urban environments with good public transport, and I’m not sure how well connected North Kanto is. I also value good nature though.

Again there‘s no guarantee I would get accepted to South Kanto. What would you recommend?
