Hi everyone, we are moving to Kyushu from NZ mid next year and one of the most stressful parts of planning is moving our 2 cats.
Getting the cats to Narita is straightforward, all of the Air NZ approved pet transport companies can deal with it, but its then how to onship them to Kumamoto. For various reasons we arent planning on actually travelling with the animals – my wife and baby will be travelling ahead, and will take delivery of the cats at the final destination and ill travel last when ive cleared out our house etc.
Are there companies in Japan that we can organise to collect the cats off the flight in Narita, see to them and look after them before putting them on their connecting flight? Its usually close to 24 hours door to door when whenever we do this trip due to often needing an overnight stay at Narita as flights never align nicely. Thats a long time for our cats to be cooped up in carriers and im concerned for their wellbeing unless theres some intervention between flights.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
