Help with filling out the visa application form

Hey,

I'm filling out the visa application form and am not quite sure what to put in either of those fields:

– Guarantor or reference in Japan(Please provide details of the guarantor or the person to be visited in Japan)

– Inviter in Japan(Please write 'same as above' if the inviting person and the guarantor are the same)

Both me and my Japanese wife are currently living abroad and moving back to Japan beginning of next year. Because she is living abroad she had to appoint her father in Japan to submit the CoE application. We also employed an immigration attorney to do all the actual stuff but I guess that doesnt matter to this case.

I assume the guarantor is going to be my wife?

Whos the inviter? Also my wife (even though shes not in Japan currently)? Or her dad?
